Select - Serial Port Switches

Revo's range of optional, serial port switch devices work in conjunction with our performance software programs which are switchable via the OBD2 port on your car. Simply select a program, plug in, wait a few seconds, remove the select device and start the car. It's simple and there's no fixed switch to alert to any modification. The handset will store up to four power runs, once completed, simply plug the handset into your PC or laptop to review & printout the results, including graphs & figures, for professional results every time.

Select

The 'select' gives the user the ability to switch between stock and performance mode. This performance mode can be set by your Revo Technik dealer to suit your car, fuel quality and climatic conditions. Additionally the 'select' features

Select Plus

The 'select plus' features variable boost, timing and fuel adjustment allowing the user to set the car up to run efficiently with any fuel quality and in varying conditions. The 'select plus' consists of a diagnostic port interface, USB cable and new PC based software. Boost, timing and fuel adjustments can be uploaded directly to the ECU using the software communication mode.

Select Plus for Porsche

The 'select plus' gives the user the ability to alter boost, timing and fuel settings within Revo software, to make the most of differing fuel quality and environmental conditions. Select Plus for Porsche has the added benefit of a Data Acquisition function built into the Revo Select Plus software allowing the user to monitor certain engine sensors to efficiently set the adjustable boost, fueling and timing settings. It also gives the user the ability to store up to three preset configurations in the switch or alter settings via the OBDII port.

Anti-theft
When purchasing a select or select plus you will enjoy the additional benefits of a built in anti-theft program. The anti-theft modes on these switches allow you to totally disable your vehicle's ECU. It will leave the car totally inoperable even if the thief has the keys. Unlike other security devices there are no mechanical installation requirements such as wiring looms.

Immobiliser Defeat Code

Designed for the enthusiast who is considering transplanting a modern power unit into an older vehicle.

Modern factory Engine Control Units (ECU) come equipped with engine immobiliser functions in order to deter theft of the vehicle. These immobiliser functions have to be defeated in order to successfully transplant a modern engine into another automobile. The only choices available until now were to either use costly aftermarket management systems or to install the donor vehicle's instrument cluster and associated immobiliser components.

The Revo Immobiliser defeat code allows the use of the stock ECU without the added cost and complexity that is normally involved in such an engine transplant or conversion. This service is only available in conjunction with the Revo software upgrade and the ECU will need to be sent to your regional Revo office through your local revo dealer or mailed directly.

The cost of the immobiliser defeat code is an additional charge on top of the relevent revo software upgrade cost for the given ECU.

Currently available for the Bosch ME7 petrol models only e.g 1.8T

Our free trial software is uploaded into your vehicle by your local Revo dealer in a matter of minutes via the factory OBD2 diagnostic port. It is activated for you to drive and test for 5 hours driving time at your own leisure and convenience.

When the 5-hour trial period expires, the software reverts itself back to a factory level of performance. All Revo dealers have the ability to load a complete standard map back into your vehicle.

2.0T FSI DSG Transmission Software

The Revo Technik team has been working with our own 2.0L TFSi test cars, for over 18 months, developing and refining Stage1 and Stage2 DSG performance software to complement our Revo performance engine software, optimising the launch control, shift and torque limiter functions.

With amazing results; running the DSG transmission performance software allows you to use the full potential of the engine, giving the control back to the driver. Hold onto the gear through that sweeping corner without the worry of the transmission shifting up and throwing out the balance of the car, have no worries about using full throttle and having the car jump about whilst shifting down for you… get back in full control with Revo DSG software.

Revo DSG Stage1 software can be run on a standard car and it complements our full Revo Stage 1 ECU software.

Revo DSG Stage2 software is aimed at cars with more significant hardware modifications; exhausts and turbos and delivers an awesome experience when combined with our Stage3 ECU performance software, with a choice of 3200, 4000 or 4500rpm launch control and enhanced shift maps to suit vehicle set ups.

DSG Specification:

Launch Control: where applicable, launch control enabled, at 3200rpm in Stage1 DSG Software (K03 turbo cars) and at either 3200, 4000 or 4500rpm for Stage2 DSG Software (Upgraded to K04 or GT3071 turbo cars)

Torque Limiters: The torque limit built into the factory software has been increased to 500Nm. NOTE: these limits are not hardware limits, but built in software limits from the factory. As with all our software, our DSG software operates within the safety tolerances set by the factory.

Gear Shift Indicator: where applicable the in gear display is turned on.

Flash Counter Reset: the reflash counter is reset to the last count when flashed.

Kickdown in Manual Mode: kickdown has been disabled giving more control over the car

Automatic upshift in Manual Mode: auto upshift has been disabled allowing the driver to upshift as and when they please. Giving more control to the driver and allowing the full potential of power to be seen from the car.

Shift maps: Stage1 DSG software Drive and Sport shift maps are based on the sportiest available factory specification maps. With our global market, we have access to, and have been able to test all factory variants and hand pick the sportiest factory maps upon which to base our shift maps. European GTi maps have slightly increased rpm shift points for different throttle positions over other factory versions, giving a sportier drive to cars running other regional software.

Revo Stage2 DSG software has more aggressive/even sportier shift maps to complement the turbo upgrades.
